Paigo gewinnt renommierten Digital Leader Award

Das FinTech Paigo, Forderungsmanagement-Plattform von Arvato Financial Solutions, wurde von der Computerwoche und dem CIO Magazin mit dem renommierten Digital Leader Award 2021 ausgezeichnet. Mit diesem werden seit 2016 deutschlandweit digitale Erfolgsgeschichten und die dahinterstehenden Teams geehrt. Eine nationale Expertenjury würdigte Paigos Lösung als innovative Plattform für verbraucherorientiertes Forderungsmanagement in der Kategorie “Customer”.

Die Jury überzeugte dabei insbesondere die für die Inkasso-Branche völlig neue Ausrichtung, den Menschen in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen (“Fairkasso”), die technologische Entwicklung der Plattform unter Einbeziehung Künstlicher Intelligenz, Machine Learning und Data Science sowie der Market-Launch inmitten der Corona-Pandemie.

“Wir haben bei der Entwicklung von Paigo mit bisherigen Ansätzen im Forderungsmanagement bewusst gebrochen. So verstehen wir Verbraucher nicht mehr als Schuldner, sondern betrachten immer den gesamten Customer-Life-Cycle und die jeweils spezielle Lebenssituation”, so Sven Schneider, Geschäftsführer bei Paigo. “Kern unseres Angebots ist die umfassende Digitalisierung von Prozessen und Abläufen mit dem Ziel, Inkassoverfahren konsequent an den Bedürfnissen der Verbraucher auszurichten. Was sich zunächst wie ein Widerspruch anhört, führt aber zu höheren Rückführungsquoten. Schon heute sehen wir, dass die Zahlungsbereitschaft der Paigo-Portalnutzer um 25 Prozent höher ist.”

Marktstart mit Herausforderungen

Als Paigo im September 2020 an den Markt ging, stand das Unternehmen vor einer Reihe an Herausforderungen. In Deutschland sind etwa 6,9 Millionen Bürger_innen überschuldet. Verbraucher verlieren, auch aufgrund neuer digitaler Kredit- und Raten-Angebote, zunehmend schneller die Übersicht über ihre Finanzen. Parallel verschärfte sich im Januar 2021 mit dem Inkrafttreten des Gesetzes zur Verbesserung des Verbraucherschutzes im Inkasso das regulatorische Umfeld deutlich. Zusätzlich versuchten sich neue Wettbewerber zu etablieren, die einen starken IT- und Datenfokus verfolgten.

“In diesem Umfeld haben wir uns entschlossen, das Thema Inkasso völlig neu zu denken. Was wäre, wenn wir eine digitale Plattform für Forderungsmanagement aufbauen, die den Menschen in den Mittelpunkt rückt? Und die es mit einfachen, verständlichen Services Verbrauchern ermöglicht, die Übersicht und Handlungsfähigkeit über finanzielle Angelegenheiten zurückzuerlangen? Das war die Geburtsstunde von Paigo”, sagt Sven Schneider.

Digitale Features, um die eigenen Finanzen leichter zu managen

Heute begleitet das FinTech Paigo Kunden entlang des gesamten Customer-Life-Cycles. So werden auf der Plattform eine Reihe digitaler Feature angeboten, die Verbrauchen helfen, ihre Finanzen besser zu managen. Die Funktion “Blick ins Konto” ermöglicht Nutzern, schneller und einfacher Ratenzahlungen zu vereinbaren und Potentiale zum Sparen ausfindig zu machen. Die digitale Selbstauskunft soll für mehr Transparenz und Kontrolle über offene Forderungen sorgen und ein digitales Finanzlexikon und ein Finanzratgeber vermitteln Wissen.
